Denver Regional Nightingale Association

Welcome to the Denver Regional Nightingale Association (DRNA). The DRNA is a non-proft organization formed to celebrate nurses.
The DRNA aims to elevate and recognize the profession of nursing. This will be completed by recognition for demonstration of evidence-based practice, innovation and compassionate caring that will enhance patient care.
We participate and align with the Colorado Nurse Foundation (CNF) to select and honor nurses. The Nightingale Awards, given since 1985, are Colorado’s highest nursing honor.

The DRNA salutes and celebrates nurses in all areas of practice, at all levels of expertise as well as the retired nursing force.

The Nightingale Awards, have been awarded since 1985, and is Colorado’s highest nursing honor. The DRNA works with the Colorado Nurse Foundation in the selection process for the Nightingale State Nightingale award.
