About Us

The Denver Regional Nurses Association (DRNA) formerly "Denver Regional Nightingale Association" is a nonprofit organization dedicated to celebrating and recognizing the nursing profession. DRNA values the elevation and recognition of the nursing profession through evidenced-based practice, innovation, and compassionate care. We aim to enhance patient care by celebrating nurse accomplishments.

We proudly collaborate with the Colorado Nurses Foundation (CNF) to select and honor outstanding nurses. Since 1985, these awards have represented Colorado’s highest nursing honor. The DRNA celebrates nurses across all areas of practice, at every level of expertise, and includes recognition for the retired nursing community.
